HOW THE PET SITTING PROCESS WORKS

Please look over the services Gurr & Purr offers. A drop down menu will appear when you hover over the "Services" menu tab, showing various options. Or, click on any of the buttons below.

You can contact Gurr & Purr through the contact form on this website, or the various methods listed at the bottom of each page; phone, email or text.

We begin with a brief intake to learn all about you and your pet. We will briefly discuss what services and dates you need, find out about your pet's personality, diet, special needs or instructions, etc., then we set up a convenient time to meet face to face.

The complimentary meet and greet is an essential interview to ensure your pet's needs are properly looked after and all your questions answered. We discuss all aspects of pet sitting including emergency vet visits, and back up arrangements should you be unavoidably detained and not able to return home at the appointed date.
Depending on services needed this will be your chance to visit my home and check out the accommodations first hand. Dog owners do need to bring them along for the visit so I can properly screen my home for pet safety and friendliness for those future stays. Please be aware that there are resident cats in my home. Dogs will be accessed for appropriate interaction with other pets.
Meet and greets done in your home are a good opportunity to give me a tour of all the necessities; location of food, water, litter box, extra litter, can openers, cleaning products, favorite hiding spots, etc.
You will need to review and sign a standard service agreement. This is the place I gather all your contact information, emergency and vet instructions and other pertinent information.

Either each day or every other day you will receive an email or text update (phone or Skype updates can be arranged) with photos of your pet(s).

Payment for services can be through E-tansfer, PayPal, or cash. Fees are due BEFORE services begin.

Service areas include; Grimsby, Beamsville, Winona, Vineland, Smithville, Jordan, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, St. Catharines, and beyond.
